Amanda Carreon – Owner, Designer
Meet Amanda Davis Carreon, a Gainesville native and the fourth generation in her family devoted to the furniture and design industry. Her journey began amidst the enchanting vignettes and organized warehouses of her mother’s store, The Glen Addie Collection, instilling in her a love for creating beautiful and functional spaces.
A graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Amanda’s musical background cultivated an unparalleled attention to detail and a dedication to perfection. Her professional path took her to Chico’s, FAS, where she served as the assistant store manager, discovering a passion for fashion that would later intertwine with her design expertise.
Building on her family’s legacy, fashion experience, and commitment to community, Amanda founded A Divine Closet. From humble beginnings, Amanda has grown the business into a flourishing venture, complemented by her expertise through Jerome H. Davis Interiors LLC.
But Amanda’s world extends beyond the realms of design and charity. With her husband, Jaime, and daughter, Isabella Rose, she cherishes moments, creating memories that inspire her creative journey.
Kate Caton – Managing Partner, Designer
Kate Caton has been a vital part of our team for nearly a decade. Her collaboration with Amanda is characterized by unwavering commitment and a shared passion for excellence. This partnership has been instrumental in our journey towards achieving high standards and success.
Kate’s academic journey at the University of Florida, where she pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, equipped her with a profound understanding of social dynamics. This education fostered her ability to think analytically and creatively, skills that greatly enhance her role as a designer. Her unique perspective is a direct result of this rich educational background.
Her role as a wife and mother of two young girls, Claire and Gracelyn, has instilled in her patience, understanding, and adaptability which translate seamlessly into her professional life, allowing her to approach her work with a unique perspective and empathetic mindset.
As a native of Gainesville, Kate’s involvement with the community goes beyond her role in the company. She actively participates in local fundraisers and is a member of GAWN, demonstrating her commitment to the community’s growth and well-being. Her community work is reflective of her dedication to making a meaningful impact.

Brandon Caton – Do It All Dynamo
Meet Brandon, a vital behind-the-scenes member of the A Divine Closet team. He plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of the company, managing material deliveries, handling go-backs, snapping photos, and maintaining the website. Outside of work, Brandon is a dedicated husband and father to two beautiful girls. He’s also an entrepreneur, having founded How 2 Tech, LLC in 2017, where he continues to drive innovation and support technology solutions. His diverse skills and personal dedication make him an indispensable part of both his family and professional spheres.
